"Central Fish Restaurant." It's on the out-skirts of town and is more of a cafe than a restaurant. But they got the "fish" bit right. Oh my, they did.
Fish'n'chips twice, a portion of mushy peas and two cans of bitter shandy: £13. I'm a cheap date.
The batter on the fish was nice and crisp, while the fish itself was fresh and tasty. The chips were cooked just the way I like 'em. The peas were adequately mushed. And the can o' shandy tasted of wasted youth and cheap supermarkets. Perfect.
